I need some ideas- what do you guys use these for?I want to use this for a bunch of different size screws but you have to pull out each little drawer just to see what they look like so that isn't ideal..
So for screws I cut off the box/packaging that has the sizing (and often a small pic showing the type of screw) and put that in the front of the drawers. Usually they don't actually fit well enough to show all the info, but it is more than enough (for me) to be able to pretty easily tell which drawer is my best bet to start with.

Most of the time the different colors/designs of the "tags" are enough to narrow it down to a small handful right from the start. If you didn't have the packaging, you could even just use a few different colored stickers or something to make some general groups (in whatever way makes sense to you). Searching through "one of these 4 with a green sticker" is much less frustrating than "idk, one of these 30 damn drawers" lol

I label the drawers with numbers 1-30 and have a printed paper with the description of items in each numbered drawer.

Akro Mills is what we've been using, and collecting, for literal decades.
The drawer material is a giveaway. The drawers that are clear hard plastic are much better than the milky white drawers that this one has
Interesting. I've started to prefer the more… Softer "milky white" plastic over the clear acrylic as they seem to be more robust… Or at least more resistance to cracking.

I've had one of these hanging above my desk for 4 years now. I use it for: AA, AAA, D, C, 9V batteries and tons of misc batteries (small, round kind), bunch of cables (1 - 10 ft USB C and micro USB, Y splitters, 3.5 mm audio), USB OTG, USB C and A outlet adapters, 3.5 mm to USB C adapters, flash drives, micro sd cards, screen cleaning stuff (wet/dry wipes, cloth, thing to get bubbles off new screen protector), sim tray openers, pocket knives. Well that's about it.

any recommendations?
Akro Mills is probably the best, but Iris works well, too.

These work to sort lego parts etc- or screws, or markers and pens and pencils- any small stuff you need to organize, I've bought these from Lowe's in the past.
