Mine only raised half an eyebrows when saw my buckets.
You guys are rookies. You need to keep the bucket in the car until there is sufficient distraction and then unload them straight into the garage.

It's an even better deal when you stop by the food court and ask them to fill it up with nacho cheese.

Just only fill the top one.
Seems like a no-brainer but I don't think I've seen nachos at the Costco food court. Might have to settle for 5 gallons of frozen yogurt.

Does anyone know how sturdy these are compared to a home depot or harbor freight bucket vs something like a foodservice pickle bucket (much sturdier)?

My vortex dust collector shop-vac attachment will happily collapse a harbor freight bucket.

Killer deal, just picked up 15. Only wish they had lids.

You won't find these anywhere else for this price. Even Harbor Freight and Home Depot sell them for more $, and they're not as nice as these.

I'd have ordered two sets if these were food grade. Too bad.

This is a Costco Business Center item.
The Costco Business Center link is only for reference purposes. It's a regular Costco item in many locations. If you have the app installed, you can check inventory by tapping the "Warehouse" tab at the bottom, selecting a store, and entering the item number (3535111).

A Facebook post from June 2025 indicates they are food safe and NSF certified. However, there is no indication on the product page that the current form of the product is also food safe. If they are, that's important info they should add.
