Known to have double-click issues just like the 1S and 3S. No fixable solution.

This will be my 4th MX master. I'm using a 2S as I type (well not as I type, but right before I typed this, and I'll use it again right after).
These are my favorite mice. Buying another one for an upstairs PC.

I thought the quiet click models had the double click issue? I've had my MX2S for about 5 years now... still going strong no issues.

i have 3 mx masters 2s, no issues with any of them other than the rubber degrading

this is arguably better than the newer ones if you like more mechanical clicks, and need logitech options (rather than the options+, which can have issues with mouse sharing apps).

I am using this for last 5 years, its working great still. keeps charging for many days, works seamlessly, buttons works without lag etc.. -> all great. i think this is the reason Logi devices prices wont go down even after years after years.
only issue is the shading off where we keep our fingers(right and left buttons), palm area etc.. looks awkward when not using it. but its okay.

Not denying that people had issues, but I used the 2s since almost the day it came out, 8+ hours a day until i just upgraded to the 4 and this is literally the first time I've associated a double-click issue and that mouse. So take that for what it's worth. I literally wore a hole in the left side of that mouse over the reassignable button. I avoided upgrading b/c I didn't like the new textures until the 4 came out. The 2S mouse did not stop working for me, I just relegated it to backup duty.
That said, I wish I could find this for $40 instead. At $52 I kind of want to just wait for a deal on another 4.

I firmly believe the double click is engineered. Ive been using Logitech mice since the 90s and that issue never goes away. I refused to believe its cannot be solved from an engineering standpoint. I dont see any brands of mice have this issue.

With that said Logitech still makes the best mice because of the software, and even with the double click issue their mice still last longer than Razor, evga, and other cheap mice out there. I think the only 'brand' of mice out there that is better than logitech is Microsoft's branded mice, they seem be be made with better material (metal scroll wheel for example) and never seem to have the double click issue. Its too bad that their software is non existent and their selection are very limited.

For full transparency I have no idea if the double click issue exist on this, but I used all the MX series from Logitech up until MX Master (MX Revolution, MX1000, MX Performance, etc). They all died in 2-3 years due to the double click issue.

I have owned 2 of these. One lasted 5-6 years, the other has lasted me the last two. My entire team bought them after I did, and none have had that issue.

Not sure why you're being downvoted. This is a well known fact that the mx models all have double-click issues.
