Resurrections is such a middle finger to the studio for forcing them to make it

That's the only reason why I don't want to buy this set, but I can't find the set with only the 3 movies (overpriced on Ebay). I don't want to have Resurrections in my collection.
They have these new things called trash cans. You can just throw the discs away if they're that offensive to you.

Beyond cringey comment. 4 wasn't nearly as bad as all the armchair Matrix viewers claim it to be.
Yes, it was. I've seen the original at least a dozen times. The second and third ones a handful of times and the forth one once. It will never be a rewatch. It was so bad it was comical. My wife and I were laughing at the absurdity of it throughout the movie.

Switch out the resurrection movie with animatrix or just discount it further for that movie.

I almost agree with you but I think the last Indiana was pretty good.I just think that the other three were so good it's hard to top Those films. Its very similar with the first 3 Star Wars films and then things went down hill with Jar binks and the prequels.

resurrection is probably worth nothing, so the price isn't gonna change if they take it out.

In the first one, Morpheus says that civilization peaks in the late 90s, and it just goes down hill from there. Kinda the same with the movies. (Also, he/the machines were right.)

4 was one of the worst films I've ever seen. And I say this as someone that considers part 1 as my favorite movie, since seeing it opening night (still have my ticket).

Yes. It was. And there were entire sections of the movie, trying to explain that any reason you had to enjoy the first movies was bad, and you're just wrongthink. The cattrix has you.

As others have pointed out. Not having the Animatrix in this collection is the travesty. Animatrix is the only followup Matrix product that deserves to be shelved right next to the original, on the same level, with the same impact and profundity. The studio is ridiculous for not including it. Whether simply replacing Resurrections or adding it to the box set, it deserves to be there.

Nope, not even close.

It will gain back its popularity over time. It just takes a rewatch.
I already forgot it existed.

You mean the one with that fleabag chick who told him she was a strong, independent & capable woman?
The same one with that chase scene in golf carts where they were going 5 mph? That one?
