Does this use ZeroWater filters? or do I need to buy a specific Culligan water filter?
Just concerned about the availability and cost of replacement filters.
Edit: Ah Culligan bought ZeroWater, so it's basically the same thing. Just that the Culligan filters are the newer model and not compatible with the legacy filters.

Wow these filters don't last that long. Only rated for 20 gallons...
That means you have to replace every 1-2 months.
True, although it really depends on your water quality. That said, this is one of the best options on the market if you aren't going with a reverse osmosis system.

Yea I'm on the fence on getting this vs Brita Elite. I think my tap water isn't that bad (I don't live in Flint, MI) since I live in a city so all the stuff ZeroWater strips out may be unnecessary.
Switching to a Dreo reverse osmosis system after my stock of legacy Zero filters run out because of the increase in price. These are the only products that resulted in no suspended particles in a Project Farm test.
Using the Culligan Zero Water filters after my legacy ran out and they are night and day difference, the Culligan being the night. All 3 filters stop filtering (passing water through the filter I mean) like spent legacy ones do after only a couple gallons through. You need to shake the filter after every other fill. Whatever they did to Zero Water, they ruined a phenomenal product. And they jacked up the price of the filters to boot! Typical corporate buyout.
