I got these [amazon.com] as water shoes three years ago, and they're among the best "random Amazon brand" purchases I've made.

Easy to slip on/off with option to cinch the elastic band for a tighter fit, no laces to come untied, upper dries quickly and doesn't let in small pebbles, sole grips rocks well and has drain holes, and they're just super comfortable. I've used them a bunch on beaches and rivers, and they're' still going three years later.

I have these. They're not bad as water shoes. The soles are very flat so no arch support.

I ordered these and they have arrived. Haven't tested them out in water yet, but I can say they feel comfortable and appear good quality.

They seem to be true to size with understanding you aren't wearing socks. If you plan to wear them with socks, maybe go up half a size, but not sure why you would want to wear socks with water shoes...

I can't speak to these shoes, but in general, water shoes are going to be pretty bad for hiking. They usually are flat without much foot support, and the holes in the bottom of the sole (so that water can drain) are holes that sticks, rocks, etc can poke through to your foot.

FWIW this late into a deal. I just received mine and they are impressive for the price. They fit true to size and are reasonably comfortable for the price. I wear size 13 and 13 fits as expected.

These look more like regular shoes than most water shoes... I'd probably get them but I already purchased water shoes for our last trip.
