This is a great phone - It is my main one that I use with Visible. I bought mine unlocked from Motorola - the difference being that the storage is 256GB and not 128GB. However, Ebay's Verizon Value store has their two pack of Moto G Power 2024s for 10 bucks more that this deal and they are great phones. I recently took advantage it. You get two phones and two years of service for $90. The Moto G Power 24 is heavier than the Stylus 24, but I kind of like that. Anyway Verizon Value store has many great buys.

The Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2024), model number XT2419V (often associated with carriers like Verizon/Straight Talk), is a 2024 release. Based on standard Motorola support cycles for this device series, it is expected to receive security updates until 2027.

Yeah you just sign in>activate>One you've purchased through Tracfone>Keep Number on website and current tracfone number will extend it 1 year+add 1500 to balance

Community Reviews

This Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 bundle stands out as a full phone plus a year of Tracfone service, with the stylus model praised for its complete feature set, OLED display, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, SD card slot, headphone jack, Qi charging, and solid performance. The annual plan is especially appealing for heavy Wi Fi users, backup phones, or keeping a second number active, and the included service alone is said to cost more than the deal price. The main catches are the one year unlock wait, Tracfone account transfer hassles, and limited minutes, texts, and data. It fits best as a low cost secondary line with useful hardware.

Common Questions (5)

  • The 2024 model is expected to receive security updates through May 2027, but it will stay on Android 15 with no OS upgrade. That makes it a better pick for security support than for major Android version upgrades.

  • Yes. The deal is a one-time purchase for the phone plus 1 year of Tracfone service, with the annual 1500 talk / 1500 text / 1500 MB plan included. It can be a strong value if you want a backup phone or mostly use Wi‑Fi.

    TheO5255MisterDudeleon3301justppc

  • Activation lets you choose a new number, keep an existing Tracfone number, or port in an existing number. If you already have a Tracfone line, selecting Keep Number can extend the current plan by 1 year and add 1500 minutes/texts/data to the balance.

    TheO5255AnciusDJaggsta

  • Unlocking now requires a year of active service, so it is not a quick unlock phone. After that period, it can be used on other carriers; until then, it remains carrier-locked.

    arny56titoxtianOrginal

  • It can work on Visible Locked with a physical SIM card, making it a cheap option if you already use Visible. The same XT2419V model may also require a compatible physical SIM or IMEI workaround if activation checks fail.

The problem with the Motorola phones is that they stop getting security updates after 2 years. So this one stopped getting updates LAST YEAR.
3 Year of Security Updates this is 2024 model till May 2027.

When you purchase a phone from a named service like at&t the models they purchase have less features than just a unlocked one from Motorola . My Samsung s9 was lacking several features as a unlocked one after I was able to unlock that's how they buy in bulk CHEAP

annually, not monthly, but you can save $15/month off your FIOS bill by using this plan.
How can we save FIOS bill with this plan?

So, if I buy this phone and then get a SIM card from Visible, can I still use Visible, even though it's locked to TF?

Yes they sell same XT2419V tracfone model. But might have to activate physical sim with compatible device imei then just put it in this phone if doesn't pass the IMEI check they use.

For my 86 year old Dad the Moto Stylus has been a game changer. He's able to focus more at what he intends on doing. His is a '23 and works great.

Based on other comments really advise to go with Visible. In another thread I wrote about issue with Tracfone:Tracfone went bad. They removed my phone number and plan when I tried to transfer in another phone number. They fked it up.If you lose your number, it's a hassle to get it back as customer support is clueless and you are locked out of your accounts that need verification codes. Could seriously F with your life if this is your main number. BEWARE
I work for a direct competitor and hear it everyday. We're a worse value for nearly all customers but get their business over bad customer service all the time.

I really like my 2023 Stylus, light and narrow. I'd get another if there was a deal. The 2025 version is very good but feels more like the 2024 G Power in hand (and I can't find a lighter thin/slim case for it), the 2022 Stylus is too heavy also.

I have the 2025 version of this phone and love it. I upgraded from a cheaper Motorola and it felt a lot more powerful.

How does this compare to this deal?

https://slickdeals.net/f/19196065-metro-by-t-mobile-128gb-motorola-moto-g-stylus-2025-locked-30-days-service-55-no-port-in-required-free-s-h?src=SDSearchv3&attrsrc=Thread%3AExpired%3ATrue%7CSearch%3AType%3Aac_keyword%7CSearch%3ASort%3Arelevance%7CSearch%3AHideExpired%3Afalse

This deal shows expired but actually is still in effect, but now $65. This deal is for the 2025 model and should get 2 more android updates taking it to Android 17.

Still have to wait 1 year for unlock and if you only pay for the 1st month then obviously only 1 month of actual service compared to the 1 year of service provided under this deal.

For my purposes I plan on putting it in a drawer either way for the year.

What are your thoughts?

One more year of security updates, but will be on Android 15. No OS upgrade though.

I have the 2025 from Straight Talk and like it. You can still use it as a wifi device until it is unlocked.

My 2023 Stylus gets its last update in June. The 2024 Stylus and G Powers until May and March 2027 respectively.
