A cheaper way to get this battery is to buy this combo:

It comes with an additional 2.4Ah battery and you can return the blower w/ battery and charger and you'll get the 2.5Ah battery for the promotional price shown in the cart, which for me is $76

Hallelujah! I've been needing a 2.5 for a while. Mine died, and I've been using the 5 for my string trimmer and other hand tools, but the thing is heavy. Throwing around the tools with that thing on there will kill your arms after about a half hour.

Really doesn't make sense to buy this solo when there are so many great bundles. If you have this system this is the worst size battery to really get anything done unless you have a really small yard.
