I've been waiting for a good price on a 98", but rtings.com review made me pass on this. I don't need local dimming or deep blacks, but poor picture quality and brightness in bright room are making me want to spend the extra few hundred for a TCL...

Ever since I've been looking for a new TV and found out rtings put up the big paywall, it's been a headache. I'm thinking about a smaller version of this TV or maybe the TCL QM6K pro or a Hisense U6. Any recs?

I got a 46" Hisense television in 2018 for $225.
It's still doing great in my bedroom.
If I spend >$800+, then I would consider a warranty for ANY television.

I got a feeling I'll have to pay one month to look up all I need. Which isn't bad really after all I've used it but after using the site for the last 7-8 years for free It sure sucks to have to pay now.
