This must be a price mistake. Autozone has the single quart size of Mobil 1 full synthetic 0w-30 racing oil for $2.00 / quart online. This is normally priced around $30/quart.

This is racing oil so it is very good quality with serious thermal and wear protection but it has double the ZDDP (friction modifier) that normal oil has so it can mess up your cats/sensors if your car can't use zinc. Older cars and cars without cats will find it a great oil.

Some of the reviews are weeks old so it's been this price for a while with multiple folks receiving it at this price.

I don't think I can use it but it's a great price if you can.

Is this good for a lawnmower when you're trying to beat sundown?

Do not use this for normal oil changes. It won't last because it's meant to be changed out right after track use, it won't have the TBN or additive to be able to last through a real oil change interval. You will abnormally wear your engine.

Lawn mowers are usually 10w-40 or sae30 or 40. So typically too thin. Racing with the higher zinc content that would protect better on metal to metal contact, however it's bad and clogs catalytic converters which is why its racing only.

Really? I'm pretty certain this oil has really high calcium, so you're not correct about the TBN.

As a normie, I know very little about this, but the "for track use only" would support your statement.

Will work fine for topping off between oil changes. I'd run it in my small engines. Who cares. It's cheap, full synthetic oil.

Damn, this would have been perfect. I race cars that can run this weight oil. It looks like they just pulled it off the site since it broke as I was trying to add to my cart. Thanks for posting!

In this case, ironically, it would be good to use in a rapid oil burning engine. (bad rings or valve seals)
