I posted that deal, too - see here. If you look closely at the photos, you'll see these are not the same pruners. (Both deals are slick though!)

At Amazon, picture doesn't match the description.
I've got a few pairs of these extendable ones, they work great!
If you have an Ocean State Job Lot nearby, they often have these for real cheap as well. At least the one in Pottstown, PA anyway.

FYI: This thing is heavy. Your arms will sore fast… especially when the handles extended.

Agreed.
Trimming several roebelenii gets tiring.
Ended up buying a light weight lopper with long length.

(Still do use it for thicker branches)

meh. The problem with the design is that when extended, you need to spread the handles very wide, which requires a lot of clearance which normally one doesnt have from the inside of a bush.
