All the positive reviews are Vine reviews. Those are nearly always just paid reviews for all intents and purposes.

Vine reviewers are not paid.
They get items to review for free but have to pay income tax on the MSRP.
And they do not have to give back positive reviews.

While this may technically be true, if they start piling up bad reviews, all the seller has to do is take it down, make a new name for the shoes and start all over. I steer clear of random brands nobody has ever heard of for this reason.

Not sure why you are getting thumbs down on this. There is no incentive to give a good review on Vine. You said nothing but facts.

How is not paying full price for shoes (even with tax paid) not an incentive for good reviews? Fact is, chances are very high that the "reviewer" will provide a positive review.

I'm sure there are plenty of fake reviews out there from people who received products for a good review. But Vine is handled by Amazon, and there is no incentive to make a review good. They pay Amazon for reviews, and it's Amazon's policy that they are truthful. No incentive to be untruthful. I make bad reviews all the time on Vine. Shoot, I'd be worried that Amazon would kick me off of Vine if all my reviews were positive. That would be sketchy.

For those that are Prime and live close to a return method, does it really matter if the 14 reviews on this are fake or real? It's a $14 shoe that's Prime. If ya like the way they look then get them and if they don't feel comfy or otherwise are undesirable in person, then just return them.

I don't pay much attention to negative shoe reviews. Most of the time they complain about the way the shoe fits and wear and tear on the soles. Everyone's feet are unique.

I'm a vine reviewer so I can give you my experience. I was surprised when I got the email about it. I guess I reviewed more items than I realized over the years.
Vine isn't paid, you get a page with a huge list of items and most of them are things you would never need or want like replacement bolts for an obscure branded chinese tool. occasionally you find something you want, but it's a lot of work to find things you will want if they aren't in the list of suggested items for you each day. They give you a report at the end of the year and you have to report the estimated value of all the items as compensation on your taxes.
The negative about Vine is that you have to write reviews for a percentage of the items you receive. And you cannot return items that you can't use to avoid that. I believe if you drop below 40% review/orders, you get kicked out. keep it above 80% after your evaluation period and you get access to items worth over $100 (they aren't common) and you can get more than 3 items per day. I believe that need to review things whether you can use or have used them is what contributes to the many positive reviews. I've been in vine for ~9 months and sometimes it can be annoying having to go back and write reviews for things that ended up being different than I thought they were and I'm not able to properly use to test it. I do review everything honestly, but you don't want to negatively review something just because you can't use it and you really don't know if it works well or not to give it a positive review. For example, I got some insoles recently. No size was stated so i figured they were a one size that I would trim to fit. They ended up being a 7.5 mens and I wear a size 13. Now, to properly review them, I have to find someone with tiny feet. There's definitely an urge to just write a BS review and I'm sure that happens a lot. I don't do that so I'm always on the verge of getting kicked while i find time to review things fully.
hope that helps.

I got this yesterday. For $13 it is okay, but I wouldn't wear this to anywhere. Better go to ebay and get one of those cheap adidas sneakers for a $10 more.
