Castle on ABC

Anyone else watch this?

Unfortunately I missed last week's episode, so last night's didn't quite explain itself and left me lost for a little bit. It was still pretty good though.

I haven't seen many episodes (only started watching about a month ago) but I think it's a pretty good show.

It's sorta like NCIS, without the Navy: pretty bizarre murders that take a somewhat predictable turn and then magically get solved before the episode ends.

It's silly to think women start being attractive at 18, or course she was a hottie before that. The thing is, the only reason it's inappropriate to go after a girl that's hit puberty but still young is because her mind is not yet mature (though her body is). So to ogle them and their matured body from afar, IMO, is cool.

I KNEW they were going to do this. How aggravating this is. She remembered what happened, yet still left him hanging for three months. I too want to know who killed her other, but I see that mystery as the overarching mystery of the entire series. They are going to reveal it bit by bit until the final episode i think. If we found out the whole story now, what would they use as an overarching storyline? My guess is we will find out the who sooner or later, then find out the why at a different time, etc.
Anyone else think Castle looks like he is putting on a few pounds? Towards the end of the episode when he was talking to Alexis about what was going on with Beckett, he was wearing that vneck sweater and iot looked like they were shooting it in a weird way to cover up what looked like him getting bigger. They would show Alexis in a waist up shot, then cut to him in a shoulders up shot, etc.

For me it's just too forced and convoluted. I could handle the season long hunting for the killer of her mother (and even covertly if necessary)... but not the whole "wall" till it's solved story line. It just is too forced to figure out a way to keep the sexual tension up.

Yeah, I know not much changes in a woman between age 17 and 364 days and age 18, but for legal reasons, we have to restrict saying she's hot until it's Oct.

I was thinking he looked a lot heavier, a lot older , and kinda rough looking. I was disappointed and hoping for some closure from last season. bored with red john story line

For legal reasons you can't even notice them? I'm not trying to bang this girl, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate that she's attractive. I suppose it's better to be safe than sorry but sometimes society goes overboard. Anyone who refrains from calling an attractive 16 year old is really just lying. We all see them and recognize that they're attractive.

you are right, sometimes it is not easy to start a new season's storylines. I think it will pick up.

I think she wants to 'hear' him express his feelings for her verbally ( since he is VERY used to doing it in his books and obviously has NO problem doing it then) and was a tad disappointed to not hear him say it.
He probably still believes it was his fault that she was shot and doesn't want to cause her anymore pain.
I DO think since he said awhile back ( I think in last season's opener - " No more secrets" between them that he should tell her about the mysterious guy ( she's a big girl, and can take care of herself) that called him in the opener...

And as for 'Iron' Gates- I think its a little weird that she wants to be called 'sir' ...
