This is a dumb switch, not worth it for that cost. You can just get an old Cisco 3560 from eBay and learn to configure it, gigabit per second on each port, supports POE up to 30 watts per port and it'll work as a dumb switch as soon as you plug it in, a bit loud though so don't sleep next to it...

I don't recommend buying 1Gb switches in 2026. Better to future proof your network for at least 2.5Gb

For basic needs, this won't matter. You'd be right for network enthusiasts, home labbers, & some businesses, but those folks probably already know their needs.
