Which providers' number can be ported in? My mint number seems not working.
Do you know that you need to put in the area code as well. That is a NINE digit number.

I never knew about this, thank you!
Can I add this to Mint or Ultra? Or do I need to be on TMo plan only.
So features are phone related like satellite Txting and some features are "network specific" related such as needing to be on Tmobile's network to get their features. Mint or USMobile will not give you access to Tmobile's satellite as far as I know.

Hi newbie here. Can someone please confirm, I only need to pay for ONE month of service ? And phone unlocks in 12 month? I don't need to purchase 12 months of service correct ?

This is interesting. So you're saying that if I bought this phone from Metro and wanted to transfer it to Tello it wouldn't need unlocked? I'd just need a sim from Tello? Or am I misunderstanding you. Thanks
If Tello is a sub carrier for T-Mobile, yes, but I have never used Tello, so that's a YMMV answer.

They have to be close to getting the 2026 version of this phone, it's been out for a while. I wonder if it will be free right away like this one was.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but do I need to do the "port in number" if I do the 1 month service > cancel > wait for unlock? Or can I do the "new phone number" option?

It works out for people like myself that don't really care but just want a new toy.
you could have purchased it from Total Wireless for $40 and no port in.

Have you personally verified the $100 refill unlock policy?

User reports are that according to Metro support staff it was posted on the Metro by T-Mobile page by accident and that it only applied to T-Mobile lines.

This 9 month old reddit posts shows the $100 refill unlock policy on the Metro unlock policy page.
https://www.reddit.com/r/MetroPCS...t/n7msoqr/

If you look at the Metro unlock policy page now the $100 refill unlock option is removed, as Metro staff stated that it would be.
I can confirm it's a T-Mo policy as I did it with one of their prepaid phones.

you need a year of service on total wireless. some claim it might be unlockable thru other verizon value prepaid after a year or service but who knows... I didn't have to port a number over to get this deal 3 weeks ago

I got the Cap1 email offer for $44 but after ordering they only recorded $4. Anyone had this issue?
If you contact them about it and you have some proof of the $44 offer they will probably adjust it for you. In the case where it didn't track but you'd still have proof they usually make you wait 90 days before following up about it. But then they will usually approve it.

For those that picked up one of these earlier and already activated it, they now have an offer to add another one without port-in for $35. The plan price changes to $35 once you start checking out.
