Based on my ongoing experience, like every LLM, Amazon's AI is programmed to lie when it doesn't know the answer. Don't trust it.
But I'm sure things will get better once the U.S. military starts deploying the SkyNet AI it just licensed in autonomous weapons to kill people. I'll note Anthropic was kicked to the curb by the Pentagon when their CEO said "You can't use our tech to kill civilians."
What could possibly go wrong? I'm sure the AI will apologize for its mistake.
Community Reviews
This Amazon Basics 65W USB C GaN charger stands out for compact, lightweight travel charging and strong Samsung fast charging compatibility. It is slightly larger than the Anker Nano but lighter, and it has been confirmed to negotiate Samsung Supercharger 3.0 on a Galaxy S26 Ultra. Charging speed appears to depend on the cable, with a good USB C cable needed for full performance. PPS support is disputed in the comments, and there are warnings about random charging dropouts, so it looks best as a budget compact charger if those caveats are acceptable.
Common Questions (4)
It appears to support PPS and can negotiate Samsung Super Fast Charging 3.0 on a Galaxy S26 Ultra, which also points to fastest charging on Pixel 10 if PPS is present. The listing and printed label do not clearly show PPS, so the feature is inferred from charging behavior rather than explicit labeling.
Multiple reviews mention it can stop charging randomly, so it may be less reliable than expected. At the same time, other comments describe it as maintaining constant full-power charging.
No. A good-quality USB-C cable is needed to get full charging speed; a 100W-rated cable worked, while the cable that came with one Samsung phone only supported Supercharge 1.0.
It is slightly larger but noticeably lighter than the Anker Nano. The Amazon charger measures 1.9 x 1.6 x 1.5 inches and weighs 3.17 oz, versus the Anker Nano at 1.65 x 1.42 x 1.74 inches and 3.96 oz.
