Based on my ongoing experience, like every LLM, Amazon's AI is programmed to lie when it doesn't know the answer. Don't trust it.
But I'm sure things will get better once the U.S. military starts deploying the SkyNet AI it just licensed in autonomous weapons to kill people. I'll note Anthropic was kicked to the curb by the Pentagon when their CEO said "You can't use our tech to kill civilians."
What could possibly go wrong? I'm sure the AI will apologize for its mistake.
