On the super-long and annoying chat with Lowes AI to request a price match. I used the $75 Eversource instant rebate and they are giving me trouble for that Frown

I've had the 80V mower for 6 years or so. Love it. Still going strong on the original battery, super quiet, and I also love that I can store it vertically to save some floor space in the garage. I also have the edger, blower, and trimmer. Love all of them too although the blower has an annoying habit of freezing up occasionally requiring a reseat of the battery.

Owned the push version for 9 years. Have three 80v batteries shared with trimmer.
2.5 batteries normally can get me thru my whole front and back.
And if needed, one will be almost fully charged when I'm done with my 2nd. And I live in Texas.
Very tempting for the upgrade, but my push mower is doing fine so cannot justify it

Had this brand for years from a previous clearance deal. Worked great, but was always in "high gear" due to grass length or moisture. That one only came with 2 2ah batteries, but then I found a set of high amp Greenworks batteries at Goodwill which changed everything. Just had to dremel out a single groove on each side.

I understand the idea of "going green" and all, but has anyone priced out the battery if you needed a second one charged and ready to go for larger yards? A Kobalt 80v 5.0Ah battery is $349.99... think of it this way, you are buying a battery and they throw in a mower for free! Also, it's lithium ion battery... so it's not a matter of IF you will need to replace it, it's WHEN.

All the stores I checked are showing $650. Where did you see it for $524?

I've had this mower for 8 years. I would say the batteries had a 5-6 average lifespan. I finally got some new batteries when they went on sale recently. If they weren't on sale, I would get knockoffs from Amazon. I read in another comment that these new batteries are built with lower quality cells.

I just picked up in store yesterday for $524. Not sure why you see different 🤔

I also got the 765cfm blower for $251 plus a free battery. It was $309 on the website but for some reason cheaper in store
