Shady company. My yardforce 120 volt battery trimmer brushless motor crapped out. Contacted cs for fixing, replacement, they wouldn't, no parts available. My guess is they're selling rebranded stuff with poor or no track record

Damn that's terrible news. If it was Costco I'd be less concerned bc they will damn near fix any problems or just take it back. I'm still on the fence bc I'd love to have a quiet electric zero turn for 3500+ tax (it's 600 freight shipping but I can't confirm it's free shipping with the plus membership, definitely worth 50 upgrade fee if it is free shipping)

I have 2 gas riding mowers and I can confirm the longevity and easy parts selections. Both from 1980s and 1990s But the quietness and no exhaust does have me considering this ....

Replying in both threads to you. Lol. Agreed, for me it's the noise, no oil changes etc... Plus the wife can use it for her stuff, pulling the tow cart around gardening planting etc she cant do that with the gas zero turn bc she hates using it so I have to help her or do it for her, lol. If you search YF56vRX-Z42 on YouTube you can see yardforce doing how to diy repairs on it. I wonder if they have a new model coming out and that's why this is discounted. Seems a little late though usually you'd want your new model out to sell just b4 spring hits. I think it can handle your weedy 5 acres 2 acre at a time on high blade speed, what kind of grass do you got, what's your location/zone.

California Sacramento, all kinds of shitty weeds grow on my yard. My concern is exactly the lack of videos and reviews. homestead garage seems legit but maybe he got a deal with the dealership or brand? Stuff he said seems way too nice lol my current mowers probably won't get me more than $500 from selling them I'm still worried about the woody stems from Cheeseweeds. That's the main one we have on the lot.

Repairs, a few places mentioned their customer service is non existent. Good to hear you found their repair videos. I'm pretty handy but have never fixed any electrical stuff, been with carburetors & engines my whole life even outboard engines. A little scared of the electric mowers because of that. Won't even know where to look if something stops working. $3500 can get me a new gas one, but again, noise and maintenance.. maybe my wife would get on this electric one if I bought it lol she also hates the noise and exhaust

What about glyphosate spot spraying those woody weeds? Over time you'll be fine with 85% of them. I'm not familiar with them, maybe they're is a blanket spray herbicide that kills them. For us down south with Bermuda it's msma that you can blanket use on your "right of way" area and it kills mostly everything but the Bermuda! You'll probably go thru blades about as quickly as you're zero turn blades. Do like me get you 4 sets and change the blades every few weeks then 60 grit flap disk angle grinder sharpen them all at once 10 minutes and your good to go for another 2 or 3 months. The repairs look like remove and replace for the specific faulty unit. Looked pretty simple. Homestead was chipper, but he got a free electric mower. But the real time cut on his grass I was like damn that did a great job 5 inches to 2 inches 1 pass looked perfect, right? Then the weedy property video it cut those big woody 3 and 4 footers down, he said he keep the cutting height at 4 inches and some of it took 2 passes but looked ok after. I'm 90% sure I'm getting it. I know my gas neighbors will give me funny looks but they won't hear me that's for sure. I'm scared about the warranty issues but maybe Sam's club will act more like Costco if there is issues and yardforce is nowhere to be found. I did think I saw Costco sold yardforce at some point recently, they usually don't sell crap or from companies that don't stand behind their products, but who knows. I see Walmart and tractor supply sell them. Ill think on it for another 45 minutes then game time decision it but I'm leaning toward getting it.
