Looked and felt New and i spent about a half hour de-bloating the software. Sadly about 3 weeks in the device behaved like it was not charged but i had it off the charger. Thinking it was dead i left it connected to the charger overnight.
The next morning it did not fire up. Ultimately i had to use a needle and push in the battery discharge or reset battery button to get it to fire up.
I am thinking it was software based as a ton of Acer updates applied the day it started to misbehave and it is working again.
I started a return and have till the 12th to make up my mind.

Looked like new and worked like a charm for 2 weeks. One morning: dead. Returned.
The only difference is that I did not de-bloat it. Instead I wiped out HDD and installed clean WIndows from USB.
what i see is the more classic (pre hinge problem) style.
i'm seeing the entire lCd screen panel will pivot with a ROD connecting both ends of the LCD... kinda there's no hinge.
my experience was with dells in 2021ish. ugh. horrid. those had hinges internally... hinges were metal but they screwed ONTO plastic panels internally
