Network unlockable and when? 60 days? TIA. //edit. Looks like 365 days for these now. Can I get a confirmation. Also there is a 2025 model, you'll see it.

I have Tracfone service but it's running out in the middle of July. Can I take the year of service from this phone and apply it to the one I'm currently using? (I can find uses for the new phone.)

Yes, but you'll have to transfer to this new phone to get the year of service then transfer back to your original phone. I have done this before but as with anything TracFone, if something goes wrong.. good luck. You'll be without service for a while.

Prior to year policy change I would have grabbed this. Don't need a lot of minutes or data, but now... Infimobile often has 5GB/month with unlimited talk and text for only $10 more for the year. TF year plans, even with the bundled phones, just not worth it anymore if the phone cannot be unlocked for a year.

This is an awesome phone btw. 2-3 day battery life and snappy performance. Good as a kids phone, travel phone, or simply as a backup phone.

It kind of looks like Motorola did another switcharoo with the 2025 model (like they did back in 2021 or whenever that was) and put a lower powered CPU in the 2025 compared to the 2024 version. The 2024 says it has the Dimensity 7020 while the 2025/2026 have a Dimensity 6300.
