Buying a Samsung phone, even the flagship model at full price is never a good deal. I personally wouldn't spend more then 800ish for a flagship samsung. Wait about 6-8 months after it comes out.

So to be clear. If it say $999 and the trade in valuation for an s24U is 350 AND one gets $200 bonus. Does that mean one actually is paging $450 all in (not including fuzzy tax math of course). Is that where we r now?

I had the S10 plus and had it for 3-4 years and apps still worked after firmware updates terminated. I got the Note 20 Ultra and it was past 5 years and still worked.

I got the S25 ultra last year when Samsung had the Thanksgiving specials for $1000 for 1 Terabyte drive. I jumped at that because it was current back then and 1 TB !! It is much faster than my Note 20 Ultra.
