It's... okay.

Positives:

Uses SODIMMs, so it's upgradable.
Zen 4 / RDNA 3, so it's not outdated like the older Zen 1/2 w/ Vega APUs floating around. AMD is still committed to supporting RDNA 3, so you'll have better driver support for the GPU when compared to Vega, which AMD only supports as a legacy product.
760m, while not a powerhouse, is a respectable iGPU. In the worst configured systems, it's on par with the 680m, and in fast RAM situations, it can be up to 25% faster depending on the game. RAM speeds and configs (Dual vs Single Channel) make a big difference here, so avoid crappy slow RAM, and always pair your SODIMMs for dual channel if you value graphics performance. You should be able to do some entry level gaming on this PC, and it will work reasonably well as an emulator box.
7640HS matches the 7735HS in multithreading despite a 6 core vs 8 core advantage for the 7735HS, and beats in in single threading by an average of 12%. That's the advantage of Zen 4 vs Zen 3+.
USB-4 port on the front is capable of connecting an offboard GPU, if that's important to you. Unfortunately, no USB-4 in the back.
Neutral / Informational:

BOSGAME appears to be a sub brand of Minisforum, which is owned by Shenzhen Meigao Electronic Equipment Co., Ltd. It's hard to establish this definitively, but I've seen a few references claiming this.
The RAM goes for $90-$105 on eBay, and a 512GB NVMe drive will run you ~$50-$55 on eBay as well. Subtracting those two from the total puts the remaining mini at around $200, which is a decent deal for a 6 core Zen 4 mini with Windows 11 Pro.
Negatives:

There are some reports of BOSGAME minis shipping with malware, particularly sold on Amazon. As with all Chinese minis, you should immeadiately install a fresh copy of Windows to avoid potential malware. Yes, we all know there are no guarantees the BIOS will be free of malware too.
The RAM is slower than average at 4800MT/s vs 5600MT/s you'll usually find in better equipped minis. This will impact performance, particularly the iGPU.
The RAM is in a 2x8GB configuration, which is good for dual channel, but you won't be able to buy an additional 16GB SODIMM to bring it up to 32GB, you'll have to buy 2. This is less of a problem if you're wanting to install a faster 2x16GB DDR5 5600 kit, which it reportedly supports.
You could do worse I guess. The Zen 4 8-core (7840HS, 8745HS, H225, etc) Minis are jumping in price, leaving just 6 core Zen 4 and 8 core Zen 2/3 products. I won't even talk about Zen 5 minis, as those are increasingly priced at a big premium, especially the 8-core models. This DRAM / NAND bubble is showing no signs of ending. I'm afraid we may see modern CPUs get hoovered up just like DRAM and NAND, resulting in prices for those spiking too.

I hate that this is about as close to a deal for a desktop mini as I've seen posted on Slickdeals lately. It's getting to the point I'd almost just recommend waiting for an open-box Mac Mini at Best Buy, or direct from Apple when they eventually restock their official refurbs. This is a bad year to buy a new PC.

With these specs, if you are considering it for a DIY Steam Machine (Chimera/Bazzite), it will perform better than par with a Steamdeck.

Depends what segment.. afraid Mac mini bargain are over .... Base config remove for good, inventory drying up being such an easy machine for both the avg joe, soccer mom, student + small business and the many small ai farms with dozens/hundreds minis in the same room..

Laptop PC and Mac is still one of the best years (so far) and wonder it's just a matter of time before laptop creep and fast.

Yep, it all sucks. I gave up last week and bought a used Beelink Mini off eBay for $450. For the same config with a new PC, I'd have to pay well over $700. I was hesitant, because similar specced models were routinely available for under $400 last year, sometimes close to $300. They were lesser brands like Firebat, but 7840HS / 32GB RAM / 1TB SSD nonetheless.

I miss the days of the N150, 16gb, 512 for $130. I have a stack of them, man they are useful for 7W servers. Oh those were the days...Lol about a year ago Smilie

Can't do anything useful on a Mac. Games? Productivity? It's an overpriced web browser.

Honestly, its fine for light gaming too. I play Roblox and Minecraft with my kids, and now that Civilization 7 is on the Apple Arcade I have been playing through that. For light gaming it's perfect.

I wouldn't be surprised if Apple takes over gaming sector later. Mac minis base model is discontinued and I know the specs looks good for Windows but just games and the better specs is holding them on. Cuz I've had bad poor service with them not replacing defective device and another brand's RAM dying. That had never happened in my past windows purchases in the past decades.
