Anybody else having delivery issues? I have issues getting packages delivered to my house, but for some reason I decided to deliver it there and chose to run home on lunch break. Got home 10 minutes after package was marked delivered, no package. UPS tells me I can't file a claim because TW has to file, Total Wireless claims I have to do it myself through UPS. A 5 minute text exchange took 40 minutes of my time. Just the back and forth game with no result. Contacted UPS directly about the mis-delivery and they gave me "hopeful" news that they were sending the driver back to where they delivered, not getting my hopes up though. TW customer service says they can do nothing for me, while UPS gave no photo proof of delivery.

Sorry for your bad experience. I just got mine delivered today by UPS. Left it on the step. I happen to check tracking and saw it was delivered. I did get a photo but the notification was delayed in receiving it.

Once you get the phone, how long do you have before you have to activate it? I would like to save it for a couple of months for a trip.

I ordered May 7th, shipped May 8th, received May 12th. Even got a confirmation email from Chase credit card, a $10 credit was applied because of special deal with Total wireless. So this came out to $30 for me.

Just for kicks I checked in TF's website for activating with this phone, and after entering IMEI, it said there was a problem. This was after I already activated it with TW, so maybe that had an effect. I may have to request TF to rebrand when my included first month of TW service ends. The bootup screen shows a Verizon logo, not total wireless or Tracfone. The settings about phone shows it's provisioned for Tracfone interestingly, out of the box, even after Total wireless activation. Even the sim card included begins with a 'TFXXXXX' which is standard for Tracfone SIMs.

Unlock for this phone after 1 year doesn't matter for a lot of us who are already on a Verizon MNVO, like Tracfone, we can just use this phone before the 1 year expiration. It's only for those interested in fully unlocking to use on Tmobile or AT&T that have to wait the full year.
I did the exact opposite before trying to activate My phone with total wireless I put my TracFone sim in it and let it boot up. I believe that registered it as a TracFone phone. I cannot get it to activate on Total wireless now but I don't really care because I planned on using it with my TracFone SIM anyway and I believe now after a year it will definitely unlock because it was first activated on TracFone.

No deal, but just a heads up - the 2026 version is out. Pretty much the same phone with some minor upgrades and one more significant. The 2026 has a more useful active stylus with pressure and tilt, etc. However, big price jump.
