This might not be up your alley but I already have 2 eSIM's on my iPhone (Verizon and ATT). If I wanted to try a "trial" it asks for an IMEI. Do I give them whichever IMEI I want to replace or somehow create a new (3rd) eSIM and give them that IMEI?
This is still a great deal.
35GB cap at 199... and that is enough for me. Still can do the hotspot. And 1GB of international data... if you ever need google maps in some strange country.
There all inclusive pricing puts them pretty much equal to Mint's $180 plus tax and fees plan.... except this is for 50GB.
If you are like me, and just switch every year... I think USMobile if a viable solution.
The problem is... the $299 plan comes with 20GB of international data every single month... even if you add on service it is expensive compaired to this price if you need 20GB of international data or more (multiple months).
I don't know why USMobile is not getting more attention.

I believe the quality of the voice is dependent on the network... so it it Verizon, AT&T or Tmobile? But usually it is the phone... maybe you dropped your phone one to many times. But to say an entire network is no good regarding voice quality and you are the only person who I have heard this from... there are 400 MILLION plus cell phones in the USA.
But there are a few things to consider when you choose USMobile.
Regarding the $199 per year... only Tmobile has a decent priorty and I would not do AT&T or Verizon but again, I have no issues with Tmobile at this price. At $299 per year, any plan you get is good, that is they all have good priority.
If you are with Tmobile... USMObile 199 and Mint 180 are equal in priorty.
If you are with Verizon... USMobile at $299 is equal in priorty to Visible Plus and Visible Plus Pro. This is where Visible is better then USMobile IMHO... $225 (when on sale) VS $299.
If you are with AT&T... All you really have is USMobile at $299, Lyca priority is not good.
I am sure there are other companies but so far this is what I have.
I will add.. if I was single, I would probably get the AT&T service at USMobile and do their $299 per year plan. It gives you 100GB of high speed hotspot, then another 100GB at 6mbps. Point is, this is all you need for your home internet and cell phone. $299 per year for total service.
USMobile (TMobile).... At $199 per year, they essentially the same TMobile serivce as Mint Mobile and with tax it is about the same price.
USMobile (Verizon)... And at $299 you get similar service to Visible Plus Pro.
So if your objective is to stay with Verizon's network... you can switch between Visible and USMobile. And if your objective is to stay with TMobile's network you just switch between USMobile and Mint Mobile.
OK, where I Iive, all three networks are workable and I have no issues switching between Mint Mobile and Visible but my wife insists on staying on the TMobile's network and she travels about two weeks a year internationally so she switches between Mint and USMobile (Tmobile - 299 per year plan).
I think having USMobile is a game changer if you want to switch and stay on a specific network.
If you just want T-Mobile and have an iPhone than Mint is probably going to be your best bet. If you want Verizon, AT&T or the flexibility to have any carrier you need when you travel then US Mobile is a no brainer. The price is also out the door and the $199 plan with US Mobile was actually cheaper than the Mint $179 plan in California after Mint taxes.
