Ugly, Overpriced.
Just buy an AVR instead IMO.
Why do I say it's ugly? Look at something that has a modern design for AV components and you'll see why. https://www.avsforum.com/threads/...t-64562367
A normal AVR will have far more versatility/expandability and (assuming you didn't buy some stupidly low sensitivity AND low impedance speakers AND sit farther than 8-10ft away AND are a confirmed loudness freak AND don't use a high pass filter with a subwoofer) provide similar sound quality for less money.

Love that you call a $750 amp overpriced then recommend a $4000 stack.
Have one of these, can't vouch for it enough. It's ease, access, and sound quality is really huge at this price point. Anyone who's being particular about it is asking you to make compromises or spend far more than this
These Yamaha Network Receivers are fantastic. Yamaha has that classic flat sound and this comes with software for room correction to dial things in even further. MusicCast works very well and the FM tuners on these pick up stations very well. If you need something for music I would take this over an AVR any day. Prices on these things has gone up but at least with it being a Yamaha it will last decades.
