not sure why you'd use poison when you don't have to - sticky type fruit fly traps are extremely easy and cheap to make (youtube tutorials abound) or spend less than $10 on a 100-pack (several listings available on 'Zon) the sticky style ones that work very well in my experience and use no chemicals or poisons.

This is non toxic. It's not poison. Regardless, this is very ineffective. It dries out within a day

I tried these because their ant traps work great. These fruit fly traps, however, are absolutely useless!
