Don't believe the 60-100 mile range, it's probably closer to 40-50

My tall 14yo is asking for a "motorcycle". I know nothing about these things. Any suggestions would be great.

How does this compare to this other recent deal?

Batteries safe in these? And are they replaceable? Thinking about buying for my 14yo.

The main difference between this and that is that this is an e-bike while that is an e-dirtbike. e-bikes are generally speaking more likely to be legal for road use in your area, but it varies state by state, so you should familiarize yourself with the classifications used by your state. e-dirtbikes typically won't have working pedals and will almost always reach higher speeds than a legal e-bike. With that said, there are absolutely e-bikes with pedals that could also fall into the e-dirtbike classification as well, so again, it's important to understand how your state or country classifies e-bikes and what the requirements are to ensure it remains legal to ride on public roads. If your kid wants an e-motorcycle, there's a good chance he's referring to a Tuttio, which the e-dirtbike link you shared is a clone of. That is probably what he wants. But I don't know of anywhere where it is legal to ride those on the streets without first figuring out how to get a title and registration for it. deciding to buy one over the other ultimately comes down to what you want your kid to have and how you want him or expect him to use it.

Kinda feel like these should all come with blinkers and reflectors. They're basically mopeds

My 15AH gets to 20 on a good day with gradual hills.
