Give me like half price on a burrito. Skip buying any gift card to then use later to somehow feel like, after I apply it to a BOGO, that I am saving 50%+. I am a root cause analysis kind of guy, zero work arounds. Sell it to me directly at a fair price.
**Current event: I was reading an article where Chipotle's CEO recently stated for customers to prod employees at franchises to give more. So the CEO has very little regulation and it will still be up to the employee if they give you more. Thanks CEO! For the overpriced food we pay for, you think we could sweeten the deal for you to maybe, I don't know, make your skimped (I actually agree now with peoples' concerns on here about skimping. I have somewhat changed sides.) entrees fit a lower price?

How many of you thought Bogo means buy $40 gc get $40 gc, like me?
Nope. I was looking out for Chipotle's "catch." You have to wear something, it is a lottery, or you have to play a vault game. Even then it is still too expensive. Burritos should be minimum $1.19 in a $7.25/hr. state, $2.77 in higher wage states max. Glen Bell (founder of Taco Bell) is rolling in his grave.
This deal is a perfect example. 10k codes (lottery) AND you have to buy something that is way more than a burrito would ever cost ($40 in gift cards).

Delusional take... chipotle burrito bowl at $12 is an excellent value for the amount of food and quality that you get. If you're expecting that to be $2.77 you must be living in a Stone Age or a Third World country. It's a really poor take there's no catch buying $40 gift card. Get a buy one get one coupon. Not a bad deal.

I disagree for all the minimum wage workers out there who wanted to have a say in this (and I do not even make minimum wage). Proven they could not afford this food. Thanks.
Also, could not convince me of quality after E. Coli, Salmonella, Listeria, and Norovirus outbreaks within this brand. Proven.
This deal is just not very good.
The U.S. has flaws bro (I am not proud about it). Better than third world, but many second worlds are catching up (policies can change and they adopt First World Status..not just a badge we can wear proudly anymore because they actually serve that title better). Proven.
Still no reason to inflate the price, In my opinion. Viva la (or is it el) $2.77 burrito!
**That's all I am going to write on that.
