I have been buying this exact listing for years. Keep in mind the inner blades only need to be replaced every other year. The outer foil should be once a year. You can buy them separately.

Describing it in just time frame is not very scientific advice. Men have different density of hair, different thickness of hair strands, and different frequency of its usage. One person using it just twice a week on thin beard would require less replacement than a person using it everyday with full thick and coarse beard all over the face. So, quantifying it some ways is important. I have been using it every other day, just thin and sparse hair for years and never feel like I need to change anything.
Anyway, you can get a brand new arc5 for a 100. Why waste half of that money on just a part

That's the part that sucks. I have had like 4 or 5 of these shavers because I always end up buying a new one because the blades alone cost so much. I wish they had more deals on the blades or just cost less in general so we'd replace them when needed. Every time I get fresh blades I realize how dull my old ones were. But I feel like they don't last as long as they used to, that great cut only lasts a few weeks and then we're back to normal.

Ugh... I just dropped one of my blades down the sink last week and ordered the Arc5 on Panasonic's site to replace it. Then they cancelled my order today. It doesn't feel right to get a replacement head for half the price of a new one when my electric razor is over 6 years old. I think I'm just going to wait for another sale and try one a rotary electric razor again.
Are there places I can buy replacement blades in store so I don't get a bootleg one?

That's why I had a family member to buy it for me when they traveled to Japan for half the price. My mistake was to buy only 1 set.
