We get a lot of flies in the house no matter what we do. Tried one of these and it works, but it's loud as hell and gave the dog PTSD. Switched to the same type with a light and fly paper and it's just as good and quiet.

It works great. When I set up it in a room, I tend not to stay in that room- so I don't notice the zap.

This thing doesn't zap mosquitos unless you are sitting right next to it.

Mine zaps small fruit flies but not the larger ones you see around dog crap and other things. Those go around it or through it and survive.
