Pixel 11 is going to be released this summer. Pixel 7 is 4 years old. Google promises 5 years of software updates, which expires in October 2027. Is this phone worth $230 for only 1 year of software support? I vote no.
Beginning with Pixel 8, Google is promising 7 years of software support, so if you buy a Pixel 8 now, it will get software support until 2030.

Pixel 7 had a really crappy modem. It wasn't so bad in the US, but internationally it was terrible and struggled to get a signal often.

Also, even brand new this thing got HOT. So battery capacity will rapidly deteriorate if you're fast charging it all the time to 100%, especially in summer.

Seems more like what it should cost rather than a serious deal at this point. For reference, I bought my P7 just over three years ago for $300 and it came with a year of service included (Mint).
BTW, I do notice poor reception on occasion and limited daily battery life with just medium usage on a light data plan (2-5GB/month plan, usually). Haven't notice it really getting hot, like previous poster mentioned though.

Pretty expensive for a 4y old phone. I would rather spend $20 more and get a motorola edge 2024 with double the storage straight from motorola. Whileis not a huge upgrade, its still a better deal than buying from a third party(i know woot is amazon) and have no warranty

These should've got dumped a long time ago. A little over a year of software for this price just isn't gonna cut it.

Its not a bad phone, it's just almost end of support from Google. I'd pass and get something newer.
