Seems so, but price for the extra batt isn't great. Good price for the drill if you need the battery and charter.

DCD1007 Drill + 8ah Powerpack Batt + DCB118 8a Charger -> $216.56

Used these at the fun range to set up stages (just imagine a bunch of targets placed around an designated area). Was able to drill the lag screws into the Arizona dirt with ease. Way, way easier than manually hammering,. especially when you have 10+ targets and barriers and 5 stages.
