The battery on this goes quick and is in no way replaceable, not even by Dyson. Still overpriced at this price.

Yes, but without 2 year warranty. I highly recommend getting the 2 year warranty if you get this. I bought one for my wife brand new, and battery died within a year like others. And as others have said, battery is not replaceable. Even brand new, wife's hair is a bit curly, shoulder length, she couldn't straighten all her hair on a single charge, even when redocking it on the charger between uses. (She had the version with the stand up charge dock.) My wife did say when it did work it was nice because it took less passes to straighten hair and didn't burn her hair, was smooth/easy to use when it did work. Given that, I would recommend the corded version.

Bought one for the wife. She occasionally uses it and same battery issue under 2 years. They need to make the battery replaceable for something this expensive.

In for one. I feel bad because I was mean to my fiance last night when I got off work and was very short with her (taking my stress from work home with me and taking it out on the woman I love). I hope this will help in some meaningful way . She has always wanted Dyson hair care products. Next I'll get her the Dyson blow dryer . Thanks
