So SO much better than the twist dial weights. You can hold these close enough to your body to do a natural curl vs the twist weights are always too wide.
I do recommend getting the stand if you can also afford that. You can also add weights to this as you progress vs being g stuck at the lower weights of many of the twist dials.

I went with the Eisenlink dumbells and although those are built like a tank and I do like them Storing the extra plates is kind of a chore and I kind of wish I went with the Powerblocks. I didn't because I didn't think I would like the side bars hitting my wrist and I still probably wouldn't like that part I may have preferred to deal with that than the loose plates and the slower weight changes of the Eisenlinks.

I believe the elites are the ones with the restrictive bars. The standard ones don't seem to have the same bars.

Should I get these or the Elite USA 90 EXP ones (from their website)?
I have the trainer set now (love them), and they only go up to 50 lbs. Looking to increase the weight capacity. Thinking either this one or the USA 90 ones may be worth it.
