This is bait. This promo is not free.
All know this at this point. It's a 2 year contract basically but it's still better than Verizon or AT&T where their bill credits are now 3 years. Xfinity Mobile recently did this too.

Did I mess this up? I added items to my cart in T-Life and then used the Costco link on my phone to get the $35 waived and the $100 Costco rebate to appear. However, I ended up placing the order on my computer at Tmobile.com without using Costco link, though the rebate still showed at checkout.

Should I just simply place a new order on my phone using the Costco link instead? Also, does it matter whether the Costco account name matches the T-Mobile account for the upgraded line? My wife and I are both on the same linked Costco account but with different account numbers. I'm the T-Mobile account holder, but my wife's phone is the one being upgraded.

Edit: Now I went back to check the browser where I placed the order on my computer, and I do see a small Costco logo on the T-Mobile page. However, I'm 100% sure I did not use the Costco link on my computer. Strange.
Look for the activation/connection fee. If they charged you, then you messed up; else, you are good.

Successfully upgraded via Costco website but don't see any confirmation for the $100 shop card. Where do you find this?
There is nothing for you to do. Rebate is filled out automatically and you can check the status in 30 - 45 days in. Rebate will take 90 days waiting for return period to end + 30 days processing. Read the previous Pixel thread (linked in the OP) for more info, SDers see their rebates but have yet to receive them since it's not time yet.

anyone know if Costco acct and Tmobile acc need to have same name? The mobile is my brother's , but Costco is my name.. wondering if they let me upgrade
This is the first major deal since T-mobile allowed online ordering for Costco members, so no one knows your situation. You can ask the previous Pixel thread (linked in the OP) if anyone successfully tried what you are trying ordering from a kiosk / call center.

Beware. Tmobile policy changed on trading in any condition device.

"To qualify for the damaged device promotion, it must have been active with T-Mobile for at least 60 days in the past year."

I was going to trade in an iphone 6 with screen issue at the bottom. While it shows $799.99 promo, most likely they will remove the promo as it has not been on T-Mobile in the last year, it's been in a drawer.
So I'd then be stuck with a full price 128gb Pixel 10.

Costco members ordering through Costco link get 90 days return policy, which is more than enough time to see if the promotion sticks or not.

The promo doesn't show up for me on the Costco app, it does in T-Life.
Though it does state the 60 day requirement on Costco.

If you know you'll be with tmo for another 2 years and you have an old, cracked phone that isn't worth the shipping cost to sell then trading it for a brand new pixel 10 is a no brainer

The thread wiki has 2 different ways SDers ordered from Costco link even when the promo isn't showing up.

According to this reddit post [reddit.com], the 60 day rule has been in place since at least 8 months now. However, my and other SDers broken trade-ins in the previous Pixel deal (link in the OP) have never been on T-mobile. Mine was purchased broken for $10 - $20, still locked to Verizon. Got all my promos for 3 months now. If T-mobile had declined my promos, I would have just returned the pixels with my Costco 90 day return policy.

Not certain about the ANY plan statement. I have 2 prepaid plans, 1 is $3/ month talk & text only, limit 10 calls or texts / month then 10c per text or 10c / per minute over limit. 2nd phone is $15/ month unlimited talk & text and 5gb/ month data. T-life doesn't recognize the phone numbers on these phones for offers.

Not sure why the OP wrote that.
"... on an eligible rate plan" is stated in the actual promo.

Pretty sure they don't give recurring bill credit promos on prepaid plans regardless.

Looks like promo applies when I pick to trade in old iPhone 6, but icloud locked. Anyone think trade in would be reverted?

Has anyone had touch issue with pixel 10? I have to tap multiple times at the trip 1/8 and bottom 1/8th of the screen.

Best Buy, look for unlocked open box models. Pixel 10s start at $400+ on there website.
