When I entered the trade in phone (iphone 5c) it gave me $0 value rather than the $799 on Tlife. But when I continued to the checkout page, the Any condition promo was applied!
So I was able to get this promo on Costco having multiple EIPs on a line plus free buds. Good deal! |
|
I have Simple Choice NA and I was having the same issue where t-life was giving me the promo and going through Costco wouldn't. What I did was add the phone with trade-in promo and buds to my cart through t-life and then just check out through the Costco link. Cart will show the promo and waived connection fee. If anybody else is having this issue hope it helps.

Is it really any trade-in?
Ad says any trade-in. However, fine print has a list of acceptable trade-in models. Don't know which is right. At the current moment, only the trade-ins listed in the fine print are accepted online. No reports if things are different going through an agent.

@ouloat this thread is full of confusion about the "any phone" part since the fine print has a list of eligible phones. I for one was trying to trade in a G8 Thinq but only the V60 Thinq is eligible. Disappointing since they're both flagship phones from approximately the same era. This should really be in the first page:
I ended up finding an old S6 Edge with water damage in my electronics recycling bin, but was still functional enough to turn on while plugged in to obtain IMEI. I tried on three of my free lines. The ones with promo code ID210004 and ID220005 did not allow me to use the 'any condition' promo, but free line ID200008 did work. I selected water damage on the condition, and it still gave me the full credit amount. Also can confirm it stacked successfully with the free pixel ear buds promo |

Weird - it says eligible but then the plan does not have SC

Tip for getting multiple Pixel Buds 2a
|
Thanks for posting this. I could only get 1 buds discount in an order of 4. Trying to check out once (with 4 phones and 1 buds) failed for reasons I could not understand.
I ended up clicking a lot and ordering them all separately, but got stopped for verification after entering the same credit card number on another order. So I used 4 credit cards and 4 orders of 1 phone each, and was able to get free buds on every order. $90 tax for $100 costco GC, Pixel 10, and Pixel Buds 2a, is insane. Now multiply that by 4. I also discovered that the list of promotions might exclude the device connection fee while still having a $0 device connection fee and still showing the $100 Costco gift card. I connected Costco once and then logged in to T-Mobile repeatedly (desktop) while constantly timing out. Everything looked OK (I took screenshots of everything), but for others, it might help to click through from Costco every single time you try to check out. There was also a separate TMobile+Costco order confirmation that I only got for 2 of my 4 orders. |

Good:
Costco members can get their $100 upgrade gc, $35 connection fee waived, and 90 day return policy through online orders. No more waiting at the kiosk, no more hard upsells, no more calling the help desk. Order online at your convenience. Must start the order through the upgrade button on the Costco T-mobile page [costco.com]. If your trade-in IMEI is not accepted by the online system, you will have to call in or visit the kiosk where they can override the system.
Read the wiki, some SDers got the Costco link to work by either bruteforcing it to the end or adding the items in T-Life cart then switching to Costco to finish.
Bad:
Certain free lines no longer qualify for upgrade promos. Previously, all lines allowed upgrade promos, but no longer. You will have to check line by line to see which allows upgrading (the system will warn you if the line does not qualify). You can still stack upgrade EIP / promos on the same line then use the phone on a different line.

I'm still using a Pixel 9 Pro XL, been rock solid, not sure what issues you had.
I'm not even planning on using this Pixel 10, except maybe a trade in in 2 years, but for free(actually made money after $100 Costco card,) I couldn't pass it up. Traded in an iPhone 6 someone gave me.
I'd use my Moto Edge+ 2023 before this Pixel 10. Wired Smart Connect to monitor/TV is fantastic, I use it daily at work on a 2nd monitor.

I was confused at first because FedEx said I had a delivery from Costco. Interesting since they don't provide the phones far as I know. At least when you buy them in store at Costco it ships from T-Mobile.
