Made an order to pickup at my local store. Haven't been in years and have been waiting for a reason to use my remaining credit.

Since it's new and im picking up in store...I should get an actual sealed copy right?

It's a hit and miss gotten like 8 copies opened purchased as new..... So I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you tbh

That's so unethical that they can sell used games as new. 50 percent off is a hell of a deal and I wish we waited to get it.

Had a switch 2 since launch. This will be the first game outside of Mario Kart that came with it that I've purchased. Prices getting out of control but for $35 I'll bite.

Two games I wish I loved. Pokémon's been going down hill for years because they know they can release crap and because it says pokemon people will still religiously buy it. And I dunno what the hell happened to Metroid. I've been waiting for Prime 4 since the teaser and apparently they dropped the ball so hard a lot of people said they couldn't even bother to finish it. So disappointed

Couple of questions from someone out of the loop. Is this a mainline game or spinoff? Can someone else confirm this also works on Switch 1? If I buy 2 can both niece and nephew have their own save on a switch 1?

In a sense this is a spinoff as it doesn't introduce a new generation of pokemon, but I don't know what this does for you.
Switch 2 Editions should work on Switch 1, but without the NS2 enhancements (worse graphics/framerate). Even if you buy one game, up to 8 people can have separate save files on the same console, as long as they have their own profile. I am not sure how many save files one can have on a single profile, since I haven't played the game.
