So close, they need to just give it up and toss in a proper Z890 board. This B860 is fine and all, but both Intel refresh SKUs are coming down in price quick. They need to move these units soon...

They just need to toss some 32gb of Ram in there and I be good.

Head over to the $550 MC bundle for the 270K Plus, if you have one nearby. Both Newegg and MC are going to wait until later for 3-in-1 combos for 250K Plus, since it sells better. I still give this one a thumbs up, better than the earlier ASRock B860 board, but they should throw in a PSU, instead of the AIO.

They threw in a PSU a week or two ago. Corsair 750W 80+ Bronze.

B860 is plenty for 99% of consumers, and Intel has no need to "move these units soon", these new plus 'refreshes' are currently the best deals on the market by a large margin. Significantly cheaper than AMD, and while Nova Lake will be better later this year, you'll be paying far more for that (probably 50% more than these deals)

I'm not going to argue with consumers, yes they do need to move them, and fast. It's not about deals, the $550 over at MC will go quick. It's about volume, and dire need for revenue right now, not in Q4. Nova Lake is not only 50% more, but you're right about far more, we're estimating 2x pricing for launch SKUs, and more for the halo SKUs that come later into '27.
EDIT: All of your comments are pro Intel and negative AMD. I sell more Intel by a long shot, but tone it down a bit, these aren't console wars...
