If these were coming from Samsung with the fresh batteries they provide, Id say this is a pretty solid deal. Being that isn't the case, Id personally avoid these. I will say though, my GF uses one of these as her daily driver and it has treated her well and I'm always surprised with how good her photos come out. I'm using an S25U and she regularly is taking pictures that look comparable or even better but to be fair, she is quite a bit more experienced with taking pics than I.

This is a nice deal with S25FE. Is it any LONGWEEKEND deals for Ultra models?

Agree about the batteries. I bought a couple 'good' S23s and they deplete around 20-25% before I'm finished with my morning scroll!

I totally agree about the coming from Samsung part as my S24 FE was also around $150 as I recall from last December ...

A used S24 FE is a much better deal. Faster chip, newer battery, and most importantly it will receive software updates for another 5+ years.

I still have my S23 Ultra, and it definitely takes better pictures than my S25 Ultra, so I'm not surprised hearing that.

S23+ support ends Feb 2028. Too short to spend that money on IMO.

I'd be worried about the green line with this year, unless these comes with insurance you can expect it to happen soon.

It's not like the phone will stop working then.
And you really don't need much in the way of updates to call, text and use a web browser. But hey, depending on your use case for a phone maybe having the latest OS is important because some apps you use don't like older versions.

Security updates are a very good thing to have. People often use phones for security authentication, banking, purchases, medical record info, etc., and would rather have that info secure. Plus not have their phone be used as part of a bot-net is good. Heck, there is crypto-mining malware out there for cell phones. Someone draining my phone battery to mine sounds like something I'd like to avoid.
