Our entire address is banned from making online orders. Furthermore, anyone who has ordered items shipped or billed to our address (accounts AND credit cards) are also banned.
Dad, me, brother....all banned. Any credit cards we used to ship/bill to this address, banned -- even if we ship elsewhere or for store pickup.
Dad's company-owned credit card that he used a few times to ship tools/materials to our home for a client job? Also banned from any online purchases (and whooo boy, that gave his workplace a real head scratcher -- since HD never clearly articulated WHY the account was banned, imagine not being able to order parts and materials one day for a construction company).
And to answer the usual questions: Brother did a "hack" about once a year. No, there was no abuse. No, no other shenanigans. No, it doesn't make sense. Yes, other people do the hack and not get banned. No, we don't know why that is.
Hack at your own risk.

I personally think it's a bit unethical, buying a package/bulk deal and returning pieces to get a lower price. So I don't do it. The whole "be the change you want to see in the world" and all that.
