Good deal as it rivals the previous 83.99 at DTO as factory blemished, and currently $99 https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com/products/p321
Might as well buy it pristine without factory blemished

Factory blemished are also new in box, they aren't actually different. Its purely a label TTI can use to allow DTO to sell their tools without violating their exclusive deal with homedepot.

What are the real world, practical differences between this and the brushless version? I get it that the brushless model will be more efficient - more strikes per charge, can take full advantage of the of the HP batteries, etc. But did Ryobi add features, or otherwise improve the basic functionality, that I'd be missing out on by going with this brushed version?

More power and more nails between charges. Not necessary if you are weekend user.

For an extra hundred dollars ($199 total), you can get three high performance batteries, a charger, and the brushless version of the brad nailer (P322 is an option for the free tool in this deal).

I thought the brushless version supported longer nails too

I bought this for $99 during covid. Surprised to see it has stayed at the same price for 6 years. Not complaining, just amazed that inflation didn't hit power tools.

I just did some research on this and that is not true. I'm going to use this deal to upgrade my old brushed version which has been constantly jamming up. I've tried all of the youtube videos and finally just giving up. It will work for 5-6 nails and jam back up.
They are both good for 2" brads, the only difference is the brushless has the power to shoot through hardwoods. The brushed version could make it through most pieces of pine without any issues.
