Pretty good deal by today's standards, especially since this is a gen 5, but man, I remember buying my 4tb gen 4 for only a little more than this a few years ago.

Do you read news? Prices certainly aren't coming down anytime soon. Manufacturers capacity are booked into 2028... This is the new norm I guess.

Last industry reports I read are talking about late 2027 at best, and probably into 2028 before there's a break in pricing....

Most of us are going to have to live with what we have for quite a while.. Meaning approximately 2 years.. Frown
