It's not a premium fixture, but it's silent at lower speeds and very quiet on high. High speed is crazy fast. I like that it's a lower voltage motor, with a digital controller, instead of a 120v motor with a dial on the wall that produced some very odd sounds and speed options before.

Please explain. I have two of these and they installed in minutes. Do you not have to cut the power to install a Hunter fan...super advanced like?
A 2 year warranty on the fan and a 10 year warranty on the motor. Yeah, this is a great deal.
This isn't specific to TCL (although it did happen on one of my TCL fans) but they tend to ship the blade screws torqued down hard into the fan body. I've had to drill out a couple when installing in my new house last year. Worth returning? Yeah probably if you aren't handy.
