Please be aware you are highly likely to get the white pickguard on this. I ordered one and that's what they sent. My brother ordered one and same deal. Two times in a row we received the white pickguard. Just be aware of that. Otherwise it's an AMAZING guitar at as low as I've ever seen it. Basically an improved HSS strat.

The pearl white looks so classy with the black pick guard and dark fretboard!

If they drop this to $499 like they did for the Sage Green color a couple weeks ago I'll be all over this.

Fender sent them a cease and desist over this. The same fender that lost a 2009 case they ruled the body shape was considered generic.

These are more like an HHH strat without looking as goofy as HHH guitars always do.

The pearl white will for certain come with a black pickguard. It's the Silvertone Gray that has been shipping out with the white pickguard. I even confirmed this with PRS, so hopefully no one is shocked when theirs arrives. It, honestly, looks pretty good in gray w/ white though.

If anyone receives Silvertone Gray w/ a black pickguard please let me know. We're 0-2 in that.

Not great lighting since it's overcast and my indoor lights are all harsh, but you get the idea.

Still pretty with the white! I am a bass player, but these PRS deals do tempt me to upgrade my 6 string guitar from my cheap Yamaha.

So I grabbed the Sage Green one from a couple weeks back (I started the deal lol) but noted what appeared to be a stress mark at the joint where the neck and headstock meet - I think it's a 'scarf joint' ? Anyway, it didn't look good to me so I setup an exchange. They were nice and let me exchange for the white one w/ black pickguard. Just got the guitar over the wknd and it looks great but I checked the same area where the neck transitions to the headstock and I am seeing the same thing, although it appears to be more faint vs the first one that I sent back. I'm not sure if maybe this is just normal or if it really shouldn't be there and is a result of rough-handling.

For those of you who have one or recently got one, can you check the back of your neck/head stock transition and let me know if you see anything like this? https://imgur.com/a/KX6U0wR

PRS' SE series are often far superior instruments to guitars costing twice or three times as much...a GREAT deal
