Enormous waist of space on the Link system to hold four batteries. Buy one of the shelf setups if you must use link for battery storage and stack endless batteries in roughly the same space as one of these. In a space of 4 batteries wide and 2 deep I have 20 batteries neatly stacked by Ah. While I have a bunch of link, this is my issue with the system in general. Due to the shape and size of the mounting triangles, you lose lots of space on a wall that would normally hold multiple things width wise and most of the link stuff lacks depth for real storage space.

If you are asking about Ryobi Link specific, literally any of the shelf options are a better choice. I think the tool holder shelf currently on special for 39.99 is the best deal price wise and probably most functional shelf they offer.

Agreed. That said, they easily screw into the wall, a 2x4, etc. I just use them "non-Link"

Never understood why these molded pieces of plastic cost so much. Here's a better way:
Buy, repurpose, or build a cheap shelf, use a paddle bit to drill some holes for the posts. Done.
Or do what I have done. Take a piece of plywood, plan out and drill holes for posts. Might need to be more precise with this using a smaller bit & finish with a jigsaw in order to leave enough wood for the next step. Add some short truss or pan head screws on each side of the hole driven partially for the clips to attach to. Then you can hang the board anywhere vertically or upside down even. Add some 2x2 or 2x3 spacers for the post if hanging on a finished wall or bottom of a shelf
Bonus: you can paint it any color if you want, and not that God awful green Ryobi seems to think is a selling point.

Here's one I made that held 10 batteries under a shelf.
