9.5" might be the height of the shipping box. This assembled unit is not 9.5", nor 9.5'. It is 84.64" at the top of the pull-up bar, which is a little over 7'. 9.5' would be almost the height of a basketball rim (which is 10'), and the unit would not fit inside houses (unless it had 10' or higher ceilings). Most houses have ceiling heights of 7-9' in standard rooms (8' was standard pre-2000 with many houses built after 2000 having 9' ceilings but 8' is still common), unless it is a large luxury home or the room has a vaulted or otherwise heightened ceiling.

Yeah, I mean I've been looking for a squat rack and they have all been $170+ so it seems like a good deal whether the price was inflated first and then slashed or just priced below everyone else right off the bat.

If it's 9.5 feet, you better have yourself some tall ceilings in whatever room you're throwing this in.

Thinking about getting this to convert to a plyo ball wall slash pitching target (9hole net). May be a little tricky but I don't think I could find something cheaper. Even the wood to build a plyo wall frame would be more expensive.

Yes, for a bare bones cage this is probably as cheap as you're going to get. Keep in mind you'll have to invest in cable add ons/bench/bar/etc for a solid full body set up. Personally, if you know you want to do cable work outs in the long run or immediately I'd wait for a sale on one that already has it built in as opposed to trying to buy add ons for this, but that's just me. For bare bones cage this is cheap, cheaper than a standing pull up bar and will support all the weight youll ever need. I don't own this cage so no idea what the quality is like.
