I've had this knife for a long time and I do come back to using it every once in a while as my every day carry. The metal is fine not great, it's a slender knife when closed, which is nice. The black coating has held up good enough after 8+ years of occasional use and sharpening. The action is smooth enough, but not assisted. For the price, I'd recommend waiting for a Kershaw Leek, Chive or Scallion when the factory seconds deals drop here. The metal on the Kershaw Onion series seems better and the action feels smoother.
