It's in the top 5 for most powerful gaming cpus lol. They 9800x3d is at most 8% better. The 9850x3d is at most 12% better lol. Asking to buy such a powerful cpu for 180$ is insane

I want it but I need 32GB or DDR5 first. Refuse to pay these outrageous markups. Prices have been coming down though. I don't like using DDR4 on AMD cpus.

This chip literally beats a 14900k. Since Intel screwed up and have to lower clocks to fix their mess up on thermals.

Keep in mind that the performance advantage of X3D CPU's is slim to none (vs other CPU's of the same architecture) when in GPU limited scenarios. If you see your GPU utilization above 95% when you play whatever you play, you're probably GPU limited. So if you play at 1440p/4k in heavy AAA titles and/or you have something less than a 5080/4090/5090, upgrading from a non-X3D AM5 chip to this won't make much of a difference in most scenarios.

Example: I'm using a 7600X3D with a 9070 and I play in heavily GPU limited scenarios at all times (and my screen is only 120hz). The extra $140 for a 7800X3D would be wasted for me.

Theres 11x Used Like New that gets a 15% auto off in-cart and brings it to $280 before tax. Keep in mind what VeeTeeF said, if you are GPU limited, it makes little to no difference the processor you get. You're better off saving your money and putting it towards a better GPU.
