Yes prices are up for everything that uses NAND. Yes that is because of AI. In the current environment, it's a good price.

You are thinking of Regular MicroSD cards, not SD Express. These have only been available at the launch of the Switch 2 as the Switch 2 is the only device that uses them. The 512GB SD Express card was ~$90 around launch.
This won't work on most regular devices that use MicroSD. Only get it for things like the Switch 2.
It will work fine on most devices that use regular MicroSD cards. SD Express cards are backwards-compatible. However, they won't be able to hit quite as high speeds as some regular SD cards.
